Wednesday Reflection, a great Form assembly by 7R and the final word on shoeboxes!

Well - that was a great Wednesday!  In our Wednesday Reflection first thing this morning we had to discover the link between the pictures below:

Maybe you can work it out!  If not, pop along to see me and I'll give you some hints!

After Wednesday Reflection, I was lucky enough to join 7 Rigby for their Form Assembly which was inventive and inspiring.  I loved their 'charity single'!  7R - led by Mrs Boardman-Jones have certainly raised the bar in terms of Form Assemblies!

We had a good session at Hymn Club today in KS3 - with the Y7s doing a great job on the harmonies on Come glorify the King and Y8 and Y9 holding the tune well!  It was good to have some Y11 at Hymn Club as well.  Thursday's Chapel Club activity is meditation.  Hope some of you can make it.

The big news of the day was that Operation Christmas Child came to collect the 97 shoeboxes that the good people of St. Julie's had brought in.  That's 97 extra happy faces on Christmas Day!  Thanks to Zoe, Charlotte and Shannon who led and inspired our involvement in this.  (Thanks to the Y11 pupils who carried them to the van, too!)
