One In Mind, One In Heart – A hymn for Julie and Francoise!

This lovely hymn was written by Notre Dame Sister Ellen Gielty, who sadly passed away last year.

Mr Alderman discovered that Sr Ellen had been a lover and composer of music. He passed the sheet music for this hymn on to our Chaplain, who worked out the melody, wrote and arrangement and recorded it in her memory.

The accompanying video is a tribute to the beginnings of the Sisters of Notre Dame who were founded on 2nd February 1804 by Julie and Francoise and to all within the Notre Dame community who continue to impact the lives of so many across the world today.
