Athletics - Y10 Drama emotional whirlpool
Wow - how good is the weather in May?
After a hurriedly put together Wednesday Reflection focusing on Pentecost and the possibility of Mary being there on that fateful day when the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples transforming them into bold proclaimers of the good news of Jesus - that God loves us and wants to be with us for ever.  I think that's a really cool thought!   It's quite possible since Luke (the writer of Acts of the Apostles which records the first Pentecost) certainly wrote his gospel birth narrative from Mary's point of view!

A little later, therer was plenty of power on show as the Athletics team headed off to Litherland to participate in the Catholic Schools Competition.  There were lots of brilliant performances with our relay treams being especially effective!

Back at school, it was the first of two evenings of drama presentations by Y10 students.  They were excellent - an incredibly moving portrayal of the impact of Hillsborough, an hilarious romp set in the oofice of a local newspaper and a challenging look at peer pressure and identity!
Well done to all and apologies for not being able to attend tomorrow!
