Easter Greetings - streets of St Helens - pepperoni pizza

Easter Greetings to all!  Hope you had a really good time, although in any community, any two week period will carry some hurt and difficulties for some.  I hope the thought of Jesus suffering but overcoming this will be a source of encouragement in any troubles you face.

My Easter was busy enough with the chance to do the mundane things which need doing around the place.  On Good Friday, though, I walked into St. Helens - just ten minutes - to see and be part of the Passion Play which was enacted around the streets of St. Helens.  It was really moving and it reminded me of last year's St. Julie's Passion which we experienced thanks to Miss Douglas and her outstanding drama company.  Maybe next year we can resurrect the idea and once more journey with Jesus on the Via Dolorosa using the grounds to our new school building.   An old story - new location!

Today was great - some special conversations took place and thanks to all who participated.  Special mention though to Morgan, Liv and Louise who invited me to share pizza with them.  Like the Lord Jesus, they called someone to their table and were willing to share. It was a moving moment as we talked and laughed and just spent a little time 'being'.
