Y8 Assembly - Dance about dementia - Advent Angels
It was Year 8 Assembly and Ella and her two friends led the assembly with great aplomb.  Even when techincal things went wrong, Ella responded maturely and without fuss to rescue the situation.

A little later I had a chat with Mrs Walls and Miss Meaco and they showed me the dance/drama performed by some of our pupils recently at an event highlighting dementia.  It was truly marvellous and I'm going to try to incorporate it into our Advent Celebrations for the final day of term.

There were many other conversations during the day and the theme of ANGELS kept cropping up so I think that needs to be our Advent theme this year!  So watch this space for news of this.  But, you don't have to wait to be an angel!  Angels are messengers of news!  So, be an angel and pass on good news today!  Why not text that person in your contacts who you've not been in touch with for a while?
Here's a splendid song which includes the word 'angel':
