A PRAYER FOR TODAY

God, who loves beyond measure,

On this day we hold before you the older members of society.

May we rejoice in their wisdom and appreciate their life experience.

Help us to be vigilant to abuse of older people.

Help us never to look away, to ignore or to forget.

And where we suspect abuse in any form - cause us to act.

We ask this in your Holy Name.   Amen.
