Remembrance service for Pope Francis

On Thursday, we gathered as a whole school community to remember and give thanks for Pope Francis, who died early on Easter Monday morning.

All students and staff took time to pause and reflect on the overwhelming message of Pope Francis’ Papacy – mercy and love.

We heard the following scripture before a minute’s silence was observed in his memory.

‘I am the resurrection and the life.

Whoever believes in me, though he die,

yet shall he live,

and everyone who lives and believes in me

shall never die.’

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord,

and let perpetual light shine upon him.

May he rest in peace.
