Tantum Ergo is the last two verses from the Eucharistic Hymn (Pange Lingua) composed by St. Thomas Aquinas and is used at Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.
It is a hymn that is part of the rich Catholic tradition and just think, this hymn was heard and sung by saints and martyrs and generations of Catholics before us!
