Concert success! ‘He is the One’
On Tuesday 13th December, a choir comprising of St Julie’s and SFX students performed the original Nativity concert ‘He Is The One’ at Liverpool Hope University Chapel. Parents, staff and members of some local parishes listened to a retelling of the story of the birth of Jesus through a combination of readings and songs, that were written by our Chaplain, Jo Wallace. With a mixture of upbeat choir tunes and moving solos and duets, some in the audience were even moved to tears! Students and the chaplains of both schools thoroughly enjoyed the experience and look forward to further collaborations in the future!
A total of £95.41 was raised in donations on the night and has been used to buy urgent items to support the work of Micah Foodbank. Thank you to everyone who supported the event.
