St Julie’s student gets an audience with the Pope!
On 27th August, Y12 student Alisha visited Rome with her family and queued with hundreds of others to witness the Pope’s weekly Wednesday audience.
Every Wednesday, the Pope usually appears in St Peter’s Square to meet and bless the faithful, but Alisha experienced it inside the majestic St Peter’s Basilica!
What an incredible experience to see Pope Leo XIV up close and what a wonderful memory to have of Rome!
