Remembrance and Thanksgiving Service

On Wednesday 19th November, we held our first Service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving in the chapel, offering a safe space for students, parents, carers and staff to reflect and pray for those loved ones who have died. Sr Catherine Darby and Sr Mary O’Brien were in attendance to remember those Notre Dame Sisters lost within the past year and Fr Peter McGrail represented our local Deanery priests.

Led by our Chaplain and Ministry students, the service included music, scripture, poetry and a beautiful opportunity to light a candle in memory of those who have died. The atmosphere was moving and meaningful for all who were there. 

Eternal rest grant unto them O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace. Amen
