The dark side of Chocolate

The dark side of Chocolate

Category: Chaplaincy | Date: Jan 10, 2016

Cocoa (the plant which is used in the production of chocolate) has been called the 'food of the Gods' but even in the 21st century, children are being made to work in hazardous conditions to grow and harvest it.

Here's a recent news video about it:

Read through the information on Anti-Slavery International's website and consider if you want to be involved in asking cocoa traders to be more vigilant in stopping this!

As ever, the choice is yours.

Remember, if you do take part with your parents' permission, use your school address and e-mail.
