Welcome to St. Julie's Catholic High School Chaplaincy

Catholic Heads Conference

Catholic Heads Conference

Category: Chaplaincy | Date: Oct 15, 2015

On Tuesday of this week, headteachers from Catholic Schools in South Liverpool gathered at St. Julie’s for their regular conference!

As the primary school Heads came in, they were welcomed by some St. Julie’s pupils who used to attend their schools, who then escorted them to The Chapel where the Conference opened with a prayerful reflection.  Candles were lit for each of the schools in the partnership and Overtone, the school’s music ministry team, led everyone in the hymn “Serve the good God well”.

When the Heads were walking across the playground, you could be forgiven for thinking that One Direction had paid a visit because their former pupils, who saw them, gathered round excitedly to say hello.

The meeting went well and new strategies are in place for working together on Maths and English along with a forthcoming Indoor Athletics event across the partnership area.

We’d like to thank all the Heads for visiting us as well as Overtone and our Y7 ‘meeters and greeters’.
