Weekly news video and Sunday Gospel

Category: Chaplaincy | Date: Apr 20, 2015

You can find our weekly news video in the Sacred Space section.

This week's video remembers some of the most awful abuses of human rights over the last 100 years, the plight of boat people crossing the Mediterranean, the 'phantom framer' and two wonderful human beings who help each other and humanity in a most creative way!

Our Gospel reading covers when Jesus appeared to his followers on that first Easter Sunday evening as they were listening to the two excited disciples who had walked with the risen Jesus on the road to Emmaus before recognising him in the breaking of the bread!  Again, food is at the heart of the encounter as Jesus ate fish with them!

Catch it in the Sunday Gospel section!
