Our weekly theme and some words from St. Julie

This week we are challenged to respect and embrace diversity - to celebrate our differences!

St. Julie encourages us to:

Maybe, we can reflect on the crosses that we bear - for ourselves and others.  Those crosses can be brought about by sickenss - both mental and physical.  They can be to do with relationships.  Pressure of work can make us feel like we are carrying a heavy weight on our shoulders.  We can feel the burden of other people's expectations.

But, Christians believe that Jesus who carried that cross to Golgotha is there to carry our crosses with us.  He gives us the courage to help others to carry their crosses too.  Maybe this week, you'll have the chance to lift the burden for someone else.  Maybe you'll be blessed by willing shoulders taking on your burdens too!
