Here's a 1 min 27 secs video clip which features some thoughts on Social Justice.   Which quote do you think most impacts you?  Why does it move you?  What are the implications for individuals and groups trying to bring about social justice?

A prayer for  World Day of Social Justice

Loving Parent God,

we are called to be people who believe in and act for change,

to participate in bringing about peace,

and to struggle to build a world of love.

Help us to celebrate all the good that survives even in the darkest of situations.

Help us to live as lights that refuse to be extinguished.

Help us to choose hope, justice, peace and love in our everyday lives - while also being aware of and active in the wider world!

We pray this in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. AMEN
