Welcome to St. Julie's Catholic High School Chaplaincy

December Daily Challenge

Date: Dec 8, 2017 16:45:00
Details:

Today is the feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.  That's nothing to do with the conception of Jesus!

It's marks the belief that Mary was born free from the Original Sin - that capacity to give in to temptation that humans have.

It's a day when Catholics all over the world will say the Hail Mary.  You're invited to reflect on the words now as you watch (40 secs):

The beginning of this prayer is a greeting "Hail, Mary" and your challenge today is to make a special effort to greet as many people as you can by name!  Keep a score - can you get to 50?

Lord, we thank you that you call us by name.

Help us to use names well that we might strengthen relationships.

AMEN
