Racial Justice Sunday

Date: Jan 28, 2018 12:15:00
Details:

Some bidding prayers for this day:

Let us pray for all those who are discriminated in our society;

that they may be recognised, treated and appreciated as children of God

and that the Lord will give all the hearts of compassion

to embrace all people with love and acceptance.

Lord in your mercy
Hear our prayer

We pray for all those whose hearts are broken and are crushed in spirit because of their experience of racial discrimination in our communities and the wider society;

that the Lord, through the hands and words of those who believe in him, will reach out to them.
Lord in your mercy
Hear our prayer

We pray for those in authority, that they may use their position to serve the people well and build a community where injustice and division will give way to justice, peace, freedom and love.
Lord in your mercy
Hear our prayer
