The day revolved around the Sisters of Notre Dame today. We're trying to get together a trip to Namur - the Mother House of the Sisters. I've been three times before and it's always marvellous. Once we went on a river cruise (well, actually, it's only about 45 minutes) and flew the Year of St. Julie flag from the stern - I think that's the back of the boat!
However, trying to book flights was not without its frustrations! Anyway, we got it done thanks to Mrs Leyland's indomitable efforts and the patience of the students involved!
At lunchtime, it was the Sisters in Nicaragua who we were thinking of by having our photos taken with the Nicaraguan flag! Here are just a few of the images:
Those images have been sent to Sr Margaret who will pass them on to the Sisters in Nicaragua. Thanks to all who took part on what was a windy day! By the end of it, I don't mind admitting that I was flagging!
