Today, at Wednesday Reflection, participants walked the first three stations of the cross.
The third station was Jesus falling for the first time which I always find moving:
Tomorrow is a special day for all in the worldwide Notre Dame community as it is the birthday of Francoise Blin de Bourdon, the great companion of St. Julie. Today was spent garnering resources to produce a very mini bio! Thanks to Mrs Rooney for doing the voiceover that you'll see tomorrow on screens round school. In case you can't wait, here it is:
Great rehearsal at lunchtime with Overwhelm pulling out all the stops to get ready for Saturday's visit to OLA! Happy brithday to Emily who sang as whole-heartedly as ever! Also at lunchtime I saw great kindness in action among a group of Year 11 students. Well done to all of them.
Well done to the cake makers, sellers and buyers of 7 Rigby who raised about £70 for Lyndale House! I tasted one and I'm not sure what it was but it was a taste sensation - something like eating parma violets but as a cupcake! Congratulations on the imagination and drive that made it happen!
Big day tomorrow with it being International Women's Day as well as Francoise's birthday!
