At the end of school yesterday, Mrs Livemore came and read out the Numeracy Prayer that closes our Numeracy Ninja activities. Here it is:
It's just one minute reflecting on the wonders of mathematics which help us to discover and express patterns which help us to understand the world. I must say I've always loved Maths. My degree is in Maths, PE and Education and I particularly loved a thing called non-Euclidean geometry where you can build new worlds just by changing assumptions. It was truly mindblowing!
Popped out of school this morning to a meeting with Bishop Tom Williams who is coming to visit us on 20th April. I'm sure it will be a great visit and we look forward to welcoming Bishop Tom:
Lunchtime and the afternoon went by in a bit of a blur as I was doing a bit of work on CAFOD and the Family Fast Day which helps us to focus our minds on those who are hungry. It's on Friday of this week and I'll post a video I'm working on tomorrow!
It's good to get behind CAFOD, who we support each year on the annual FunRun at Wavertree Park.
