St Julie's box - Passing on news - chances to act
Assembly today was led by Speranza (our Senior Prefect) and delivered to our wonderful Year 11 students who are facing a challenging 104 days before exams start.

At the end of a most inspiring speech, everyone was given the opportunity to write down what we are grateful for and what we aspire to!  These were placed in a St. Julie's box specially designed for the occasion.

Today, I had to pass on the results of auditions to the junior Music Ministry Team (Overwhelm)!  Such occasions always involve disappointment but I was so impressed with those who didn't maybe get the role they wanted but still committed to being involved.  I just love that kind of attitude!

If you haven't already, you might want to check out the resurrected Make a Difference section of this website which offers some chances to influence decision makers on a number of issues - including modern day slavery!  Check it out and see if you want to ask MPs to make the ending of slavery a priority.  (Always check with your family first and use your school e-mail address!  You might also want to be careful that you don't inadvertently sign up for a mailing list or other service.)
