Cakes - a few name checks - being a roadie!

It's 5:10 p.m. and it's been a marvellous day!  Just been with great people!

Assembly with Y8 was led by Mr Alderman and gave plenty of food for thought as he reflected on this great city and the opportunities it provides.

Then it was meeting with Mr Willis - over the best bacon muffin I think I've ever had!  Thanks to Joan, Tracey and new boy, Chris for looking after the creatures of habit who are continuing their Friday tradition by partaking in this sublime brunch opportunity!

A little later it was Sr Margaret who popped in to chat over a few things and that was really good.

Then the MacMillan Coffee Morning run by the Admin team.  I had a slice of a quadruple Victoria sponge (yes, I do mean quadruple) which was so lovely that, had I been Paul Hollywood, I would have shaken the chef's hand!

Heather and Isobel (Y8) were on hand then to help move the Hope+ Foodbank donations.  Huge thanks especially to 13 Agatha who really came up trumps.

As we were finishing the loading up of the minibus, Amelia and her friends came along and presented me with a magnificent cupcake!  Very kind and most welcome.

Then it was off to pick up some musical gear for Sunday's Inclusive Mass with and for the Disabled.  The gear (enough to fill the Cathedral with sound) and the foodbank stuff came with me to the Cathedral where the lovely Colin (on security) helped me stash it away safely!

Mad dash back to school and a music session with Mr Fleming - so talented - in preparation for aforementioned Mass!  As we played there in the Chapel, we noticed a rainbow and I've tweeted it out @stjulieschap.  Have a look!

 A great day all round!

Have a great weekend!
