{"id":8249,"date":"2024-09-12T11:59:18","date_gmt":"2024-09-12T10:59:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chaplaincy.stjulies.org.uk\/?p=8249"},"modified":"2024-09-12T11:59:19","modified_gmt":"2024-09-12T10:59:19","slug":"alfies-squad-fundraiser","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/chaplaincy.stjulies.org.uk\/index.php\/2024\/09\/12\/alfies-squad-fundraiser\/","title":{"rendered":"Alfie&#8217;s Squad Fundraiser"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Harriette and Layla in Y12 students organised a bake sale at break today to fundraise for Alfie&#8217;s Squad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alfie&#8217;s Squad is a non profit organisation which helps children and their families who have been bereaved by suicide, in and around Merseyside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They provide a groundbreaking children&#8217;s peer support group that helps reduce isolation and improve self worth. They also provide peer support groups for parents and carers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Harriette and Layla will also be participating in &#8216;Carry the weight for Alfie&#8217;s Squad&#8217; which is happening this Saturday 14th September.
