{"id":6367,"date":"2022-07-04T14:11:43","date_gmt":"2022-07-04T13:11:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/chaplaincy.stjulies.org.uk\/?p=6367"},"modified":"2022-07-04T14:12:51","modified_gmt":"2022-07-04T13:12:51","slug":"final-confirmation-preparation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/chaplaincy.stjulies.org.uk\/index.php\/2022\/07\/04\/final-confirmation-preparation\/","title":{"rendered":"Mission and Vocation &#8211; Confirmation Session 2"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On Saturday 2nd July, we held the final session of Confirmation preparation for the Candidates in the South Liverpool Pastoral Area here at St. Julie&#8217;s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The young people were reminded on the previous session &#8216;Called By Name&#8217;: about the importance of names and their identity as a follower of Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their last session was &#8216;Mission and Vocation&#8217;: a focus on what it means to be called or have a vocation and how each of us has a part to play in the global Church. Candidates also had a chance to ask any last minute questions and were talked through the signs and symbols during Confirmation as well as the practicalities on the night!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We continue to pray that God blesses them with many graces and that they be filled with a renewed energy and vigour for their faith!
