{"id":5300,"date":"2021-10-07T13:32:17","date_gmt":"2021-10-07T12:32:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/chaplaincy.stjulies.org.uk\/?p=5300"},"modified":"2021-10-07T13:41:28","modified_gmt":"2021-10-07T12:41:28","slug":"liverpool-called-confirmations-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/chaplaincy.stjulies.org.uk\/index.php\/2021\/10\/07\/liverpool-called-confirmations-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"Liverpool CALLED &#8211; Confirmations 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>After the disruption due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a lot of patience and a lot of planning, 16 of our students finally received the Sacrament of Confirmation this week at St. Ambrose Church, Speke. The Confirmations took place over two evenings which were wonderfully faith-filled and\u00a0a\u00a0large\u00a0number of\u00a0young people\u00a0from across the pastoral area\u00a0were involved\u00a0as readers, lighting candles or burning the incense.\u00a0The services were led by the newly appointed Bishop Tom Neylon and the music was led by our school chaplain\u00a0Jo Wallace\u00a0on guitar and vocals, Fr Ed Cain\u00a0on bass guitar\u00a0and Chloe, a parishioner from St Ambrose\u00a0singing too.\u00a0The students\u00a0also\u00a0had a small celebration in school on Thursday afternoon to celebrate\u00a0together\u00a0as a group\u00a0(with some cake!)\u00a0Many thanks to all the volunteers and helpers and of course to our families who have supported the young people on this
