That’s it for now!

Well, the academic year 2019-20 draws to a close today! Thanks to all who have visited this website which is going to have a little break!

This week, staff have been in school working hard to prepare for both Results Days and the beginning on the next academic year. Have a lovely and well-deserved rest, stay safe and be kind!

The final service we had on 10th July 2020 in the Peace Garden was a definite highlight of the year. On this last day of term for our students – staff from all areas of school life gathered with the students in the Peace Garden for an End of Year service.

In glorious sunshine, they reflected on the last few months, gave each other a round of applause, clapped for carers and keyworkers and held a minute’s silence for all who have died during this most difficult of years.

The school flag was lowered to half-mast as a sign of respect and it will be raised once more when school re-opens.

After a short reflection and prayer, our Peace Bell pealed to mark the end of the academic year.  It will sound once more on our first day back in September to welcome students and staff to St. Julie’s once more.

God bless you all!
